Predict Pole Time - '07 Monaco GP (No winners!)

Post by Tim » Thu May 24, 2007 2:39 am

Predict the Pole Time for the 2007 Monaco Grand Prix

Go ahead and have a crack at the fastest times from the 3 sessions of Qualifying or just the Pole time (fastest time in the 3rd session) and lets see who can be closest in Monaco.

If someone gets a perfect match or near perfect (+/- 0.1 seconds) for 1 time, we'll give away a prize. (A choice between an Digital Alarm Clock and a Stopwatch).
And an even better prize if you get a perfect match or near perfect (+/- 0.1 seconds) for 2 times (A USD $100 instant gift certificate or equavilent from a choice of suppliers!) and better still if you get a perfect match or near perfect (+/- 0.1 seconds) for 3 times (A USD $250 instant gift certificate or equavilent from a choice of suppliers!)
For each of the above, getting the correct driver adds a bonus gift.

Please include the time to the 1000's of a second and the driver. You can if you wish include a wet time as well

The pole time in 2006 time was a 1:13.962 by Fernando Alonso.

Good luck everyone!

The Fine Print
One entry (dry and wet) per user with one change per condition allowed. Entries close prior to the start of first practice on Thursday
The winner will be the one who manages to predict the closest time(s). You need to be within 0.1 seconds of the fastest times to be declared the winner.
In the case of two players predicting the same time(s) and driver(s), the player who submitted earlier will be the winner.
Changing time(s) and/or driver(s) is allowed only once and the change cannot be a max or min to try and gain advantage (eg. if the fastest time posted is a 1:45.345, a player cannot change their time to a time above that)

Actual Fastest Qualifying times were:

S1 - 1:15.685 by Lewis Hamilton
S2 - 1:15.341 by Fernando Alonso
S3 - 1:15.726 by Fernando Alonso

All the times were too far this round from the actual times.

Good luck in the following rounds

Note: We'll be sending out the prizes at the end of the season.
