This weekend sees round 7 of the V8 Supercar Series to be held at Queensland Raceway about an hour west of Brisbane.

Qualifying for the round is on Saturday with race 1 later that afternoon. Races 2 and 3 will be held on Sunday.

Queensland Raceway is the test track for the following teams.

Team Vodafone - Lowndes, Whincup
Jeld Wen Racing - Courtney
Caltex Racing - Ingall
Jim Beam Racing - Johnson, Davison
WPS Racing - Wilson, Bargwanna
Team Sirromet Wines - Morris, Coulthard

V8 8'n'Pole tips need to be in by 1:00pm on Friday July 20th local time.

The V8Supercar race lap record is held by Garth Tander, set in 1999, with a time of 1:11:0033. John Bowe set the Qualifying record the same year.
