The BMW Sauber Formula 1 team announced that both Nick Heidfeld and Robert Kubica will be racing for the team again in 2009. Test driver Christian Klien will continue in as the team's official test and reserve driver.
This announcement ends speculation that Fernando Alonso would be joining the team in 2009.
A short statement from the team read:
The BMW Sauber F1 Team has opted for continuity and will once again line up with Poland’s Robert Kubica (23) and Germany’s Nick Heidfeld (31) as its race drivers in the 2009 season. The Austrian Christian Klien (25) will remain the team’s test and reserve driver.
“We see Nick and Robert as a strong driver pairing and Christian as an experienced test driver. We are in no doubt that we will again achieve our ambitious aims with them in the team’s fourth year,” explains BMW Motorsport Director Mario Theissen

This is good...
My prediction for 2009....
Renault and BMW will be in the distance with Fewawi and Mclaren picking up the pieces..........................................................................................................................................
(more than likely the pieces of the blown engine from the car in front that was running its 3rd race on the same motor)
