Max Verstappen had a sensor problem and his car stopped on the pit straight bringing out the red flags. The car was rolled backwards to a gap in the pit wall and then taken back to his pit. The sensor was reset and the car joined the exodus as the session was restarted.

Nico Hulkenberg was hit with a 10 second penalty for his turn 3 pass on Fernando Alonso is a post race stewards inquiry. Hulkenberg was deemed to have forced Alonso off the track. The penalty dropped him down to 19th position.

Charles Leclerc pushed a tad too hard in his final run and ran off the track entering the final turn ruining his lap.
Oscar Piastri had his final qualifying lap time deleted for exceeding track limits. This dropped him from 3rd to 7th.
