Anyway, here are my picks:
1. Seb. Vettel; he is defending champ, the slightly lower speed of the RBR will be no handicap in Monaco and he is a brilliant qualifyer.
2. Fernando Alonso; the lack of speed in the Ferrari will be MORE THAN made up for by the ferocity of the driver; he WANTS TO BEAT SEB in the worst way this year and he may just start doing that here.
3. Jenson Button; is the perfect driver for Monaco; he's just not quite as ferocious as Fernano or as quick as Seb.
4. Kimi Raikkonen; he hasn't quite managed to qualify high enough this year and being in the second or third row on the grid will hurt him; still, if anyone stumbles, he'll eat them up!
5. Lewis Hamilton; I think he's lost something. I can't put my finger on it, but the magic seems to be gone
6. Romain Grosjean; he's really hungry and he's driving a real hot rod
7. Mark Webber; he might be three or four slots higher, depending on how he qualifies (last year at Monaco he was 3 on the grid!)
8. Sergio Perez; he's been collecting points regularly (and quietly)
9. Pastor Maldonado; was sensational in Spain; could repeat here
10. Nico Rosberg; should be higher up, I just couldn't find room for him!
Pole: Sebastian V., the Man can fly
will be enjoying this race as warm up to Indy,
Jim Watt
My Racing Gods: Fangio, Vukovich; Senna & Mears --all racers all the time; graceful winners & generous in defeat, but never giving up!!
Thank you for submitting your picks for the race of Spain
Spain?
So, I have had to carry the previous rounds picks over.
The picks you have entered are:
Winner: Sebastian Vettel - Starting to fire again in the Red Bull
Second: Jenson Button - Smooth and consistent
Third: Lewis Hamilton - Hamo is back to doing what he does best
Fourth: Mark Webber - Just doesn't quite gel with the Red Bull
Fifth: Kimi Raikkonen - Glad to have him back
Sixth: Michael Schumacher - Still smooth and fast
Seventh: Nico Rosberg - Almost at the level of Schumi
Eighth: Fernando Alonso - Extract what he can out of this beast
Ninth: Sergio Perez Mendoza - Has the speed, just needs experience
Tenth: Paul di Resta - Just a point this weekend
Pole: Sebastian Vettel - Catch me if you can!
