Well, Well. I have to admit I was totally wrong about the race being boring! The opening laps were great fun and, like Thaddeus, I was really sorry to see Ferrari let Fernando down yet again. How the scuderia could allow such a malfunction on the rear wing is beyond me!! I hope somebody's head rolls.
I was really puzzled at Nico's falling back with so little fight; I though, after the pole that we might, indeed, have two Mercs on the podium. Instead, we got two Lotus machines again.
I hope it wasn't the tires that wrecked Lewis's chances, but I wouldn't be surprised if that were the case.
Both Fernando and Sebastian drove beautiful races; the one, because he commanded the pace from the front and the other because he overcame so much adversity.
Kimi continues to be a threat; but I predict it won't be for long; poor Lotus really needs a deep-pocket owner like Red Bull's. They just don't have the cash to develop the car over the season. On the other hand, Kimi RULES the Spa Francorchamps circuit, so he'll be in contention at least until August.
