Toyota negotiating with Bridgestone

Toyota have confirmed that they are in advanced negotiations with Bridgestone for the supply of tyres in 2006. However no agreement has been signed yet.

A statement by Toyota read
Following recent press speculation, Panasonic Toyota Racing wishes to clarify the situation regarding its tyre supply.

Toyota can confirm that it is in advanced negotiations with Bridgestone over tyre supply for its Formula One team in 2006 but no agreement has been signed.

The decision to consider a switch of tyre supplier has been made by Toyota.

I think maybe they were pressured into signing in the first place by someone with a lot of authority....cough max cough :excuse: :wtf:
