NewsOnF1 Contribution Rewards - 2005
A few weeks ago we mentioned our intention to introduce simple rewards to the active members of our forum.
As we have completed our first full Formula 1 season with our own forum. we thought it would be appropriate to introduce these rewards at this time.
The rewards are in recognition of a member's contribution to the NewsOnF1 community during our first season.
While the number of posts are a big plus, they are not the only factor. Quality of the posts is also important and a number of members are recognised despite their relatively low post count.
The Recipients:
Following consultation with a number of active members, we decided to reward a NewsOnF1.com car banner this season. However if for any reason the recipient isn't likely to display the banner on his/her car (or SUV!) we will offer an alternate reward.
Our most active member Julian Mayo tops the list for this year. He has kindly assisted us in obtaining these banners and you'll find below "Therapy" with the banner on.
With a 24% contribution ratio and an active V8 Supercars forum, you fully deserve the title Forum Legend.
We should again mention the superb job you did covering the Chinese GP race on such a short notice.
Thank you Julian for all your efforts.
Next is mlittle who is single handedly managing the North American Motorsport Forums and is doing an amazing job at it. Thanks for your contribution and I am confident next season we will get more input from our North American readers.
JayVee, I think I can confidently say that we have one of the most knowledgeable females on Formula 1 right here. Thank you JayVee for your contribution.
Kapel, the 2004 8 'n' Pole Champ who became very active on the Forums and a member of the now popular F1 Idiots group. At times Kapel provided the community with on track feedback too. Thank you
sgd, despite the occasional bad language, sqd has created a few threads that remained active for a long time. We haven't heard from sqd in a while but we can expect him to show up at any time. Thank you
rah, like a few already mentioned, rah has provided breaking news to the forum when the guys who are supposed to are asleep! Thank you
Graham Ross, your predictions for Pole and Fastest Lap times are amazing. Of course that exact pick for Monaco is the highlight! Well done!
K-D, not sure if K-D will read this but the contributions K-D made early in the season were excellent. K-D last appeared here in July. We hope to see K-D again.
<T-K>, for attempting to create a MotoGP section and is still trying! Thanks
Bundy, your contributions to the topics make them a lot more interesting. Thanks
Jim Watt, the details in Jim's picks are always fun to read and we have to mention that Jim is an early regular on the site long before the forum started. Thank you
And last but not least, lemon_martini2, our Quizmaster who is running the Trivia forum. Great job and hopefully more will start taking part in something that should be a must for every Formula 1 fan.
And of course a big thank you to all the members of the forum. All your contributions to this forum count towards making this place what it is today.
Let us all ensure it grows bigger and better during the off season and into next season.
