Here's a couple of bits of info to fill in that chart, Ed....

1}Honda's RA106 is to be unveiled on Jan. 25th;
2}Renault's R26 is to be unveiled on Jan. 31st, although testing on the car will begin about three weeks prior to unveiling.

As for presentation, it didn't say where Honda would present its' new livery; however, it said that Renault will test the new R26 at Jerez on the date above.

Renualt fired up the RS26 for the first time in a complete car just before Christmas and according to Renault everything ran like clockwork.

The team again confirmed the R26 will make its track debut on the 10th of January with Giancarlo Fisichella on duty. The team will have 2 R26 chassis ready by the second winter test.

At McLaren, the team indicated that the MP4-21 will make its track debut mid to late January. The team will return to testing on the 11th of January.

Now that is too good to be true :croc:

In 4 days you may decide to watch the boats you know :D

But even if Alonso The Cute completely dominates the field, you'll miss his magic by not watching.

But I know you would even if you pretend not to :D

It is a very nice, shiny bridge.
The gumboots are ready.
On a more serious note JV, are you not concerned that Fisi is going to get preferential tratment with development bits etc. With Alonso jumping ship I doubt that he is going to be allowed access to any development that is not absolutely essential, unless he appears likely to win a second title VERY early in the season :?

Fisichella   Preferential treatement    Renault

First this isn't Ferrari
Second, Fisichella may not last beyond this year at Renault
Renault are grooming Kovalainen to replace Alonso, Fisichella will remain at Renault if he proves himself which he has failed to do last season.
Third, Renault know that their best chance of winning the title is with Alonso so they can't for a second afford to even think about that.

JV, why do I fear that the word "Macchavalian" doesnt mean much to you.?
Why do I suspect that you are possibly the most honest person I have never met?
Why is it that I suspect that "intrigue" is to you an ice-cream or chocolate or some such ?

Does anyone know (or care) what colour Midland will be running on their cars in 06.
I bet they get less coverage than any other team. in fact i bet (the opera House) that they would probally be the team of least interest to people on this spot. With one or two exceptions.
We need more russians in F1 comrades!!
Maybe, perhaps, not sure
