Spanish Grand Prix Help Required.

Post by irish blue » Sat Apr 01, 2006 7:58 pm

Hi
New poster here. I have bought my parents tickets for the Spanish Grand Prix on mid May. My father has been to LeMans several times, but this is first trip to a F1 meet, so as you can imagine...he/they are looknig forward to it.

They are in holiday in Salou that week. Can anyone advise the best/ most affordable way of getting from Salou to the circut that day. Are there coaches that leave especially from this resort.

Thanks.

The circuit is in Catalunya which is just outside of Barcelona. Do you know where your resort is with respect to either of these cities?

There is public transpo from Bercelona.

Chris

Hope that helps, you lucky dog you!

Hello irish blue,

Our contact in Barcelona has provided us with this information:

From Salou there is not any special coach to get to the Circuit.
You should take a train from Salou to Barcelona and then another train from Barcelona to Montmel?. This train is with direction Ma?anet-Massanes and the stops are Sants, Passeig de Gr?cia or Clot. In any of this stops you can take the train which goes to our Circuit.

Hope this helps

yep trains are best way to get there
but tell ur father to be careful on them and around the busy areas at the track as pickpocters are rife
but apart from these assh**es he will have a great time its a good track for viewing
