I thought we could make a list of our pet hates, then I thought oh no I've created a monster

Then I thought no it will be all right we're all adults we can keep it above the belt and not get too personal

In no particular order my F1 pet hates for today are:

REFUELING: Strategy smattersly,

I thought this was F1 not Hares and Tortoises

MAX:

I'm just the devil in disguise

BERNIE: The ring meister, we must all kneal and kiss his ring of fire

THE FIA:" Yes Max, your our God Max, we love you, we re-elect you constantly"

GRAVEL TRAPS: I actually came to see what a F1 car looked and sounded like!

CHICANES: Oh yeh that's gonna make this circuit really interesting

TOBACCO ADVERTISING:

It's a sport for goodness sake! And where does all this money come from anyways?

Okay, I'll bite!

I have general ones and specific ones.

Drivers who don't live up to the hype [I won't name names];

Drivers who complain about fellow competitors in the press;

Multiple fuel stops [one is enough];

Bernie Ecclestone

;

Max Mosley

;

Grooved tires;

Rear air diffusers;

Front wings [especially those that are too sensitive to dirty air];

Team principals who think they are more important than the drivers [eg: Frank Williams and Patrick Head];

Team principals who don't inspire loyalty [eg: Frank Williams and Patrick Head];

Team orders/1st and 2nd driver status.

No GP in the USA [bring back Watkins Glen, Detroit or run at Road America, Laguna Seca or Mid-Ohio]

That is all I can think of at the moment!

F1 pet hates........

1}Max Mosely and Bernie Ecclestone( I suspect there are probably reservations in Dante's Inferno for those two.....)

2}Seeing the safety car out often during grand prix races

3}Drivers using certain words in reference to other F1 drivers(what was it Scott Speed said to David Coulthard after the Australian GP.......

)

4}Chicanes.....the easiest way to ruin a perfectly good racetrack

5}Gravel traps.......that's just what everyone needs, to see an F1 car sitting in one like a beached whale(or worse, drivng through one and bringing gravel onto the racing surface!)

5) Track marshals favouring the local driver

4) Ferrari tactics (team orders, testing, etc ...)

3) Driver blocking, pushing onto the grass at start or when defending position

2) Max - He will move to number 1 in 2008

1) James Blundell especially when he talks about a pommy driver

Oh I liked the idea of creating one person out of Mark B and James A.

However Mark doesn't say much that one can take issue with and he was a pretty good Indy driver when he had the right car under him

James Allen is a particular pet hate of mine too. He doesn't suck so much as blow

I think they employed him because they wanted somebody as stupid as Murray, what they hadn't reckoned on was that he is stupider and has the personality traits of an a#%& dwelling butt monkey!
