Schumacher admits he was at fault!

Post by Graham Ross » Sun Mar 20, 2005 8:26 am

just read on the BBC that Michael has apologised to Heidfeld for the crash in Melbourne.

"Michael accepts he moved, effectively, twice and will endeavour not to do so again. Time will tell whether it does happen again"

So it seems Michael is starting to apologise for his actions. That is a good change, now lets hope he stops doing it

It is also good for all those who quickly start defending Michael by blaming Heidfeld or quickly calling it a 'racing incident'

Interesting!

Maybe he's just trying to be nice knowing that he'll be starting mid-grid for most of the season and doesn't want to be eliminated at the first corner a few times

I'm not so much bothered by the fact he 'moved twice' that he seemed to try and run another competitor off the road. You can move twice without creating any real problem at all,or make one violent swoop across the track as indeed he had a tendency to do at one point-cut across everyone and then protesting he'd only moved once.

With the Bridgestones he's on, he can say goodbye to the old chop

And Senna's Pole record won't be broken by him :D

Not really!

The Bridgestones by their own admission aren't quick on their first lap so their goes 1st qualifying. Don't expect to see Ferrari on the front row under normal conditions. It will take Bridgestone a while to get Michelin's recipe 8)

Your 'real' age doesn't interest me. Some can be 65 yet are immature and lack respect.

The topic here is Formula 1 and I haven't seen a post from you with an opinion. As if you assume people know your opinion.
I shouldn't bother really

Schumacher admits he was at fault!.........
In fact he didn't, he was obligated to say "sorry" to Nick by the drivers 'council' .

No it's not.

If the driver always had vote over who should say I am sorry after contact it would mean something. This is utter bollocks, the drivers are doing this to spite and stress MS nothing else. Do you want me to list the number of incidents, where something similar could have been forced on a driver??

Or they are doing it for the good of the sport.

None of us were in that breifing so it is all assumptions. But from what I've read Michael admitted to moving twice which isn't allowed (as there is a gentleman's agreement).

As for spiting and stressing, well isn't Michael as master at that  what comes around ....
